Affiliate Programs can be a great side hustle if you are patient! Like any other opportunity, it will take some time and creativity to see the sales come in. The best thing about affiliate marketing is that it is free to start, and there are so many programs and niches to choose from, you will always be able to scale up. Back in the old days, you needed a website to be an affiliate marketer, but now you can use your social media accounts to sell pretty much anything. You can even turn TikTok into your power money-making machine. Just make sure to read the TOS of the programs you sign up for before jumping in!
Programs run in a variety of ways. Some are pay per sale, others are pay per click. Some are high ticket and others are low purchase points. The best thing you can do is decide which type of programs you prefer. I prefer a recurring program, that way I make something every month, even if it is only a little bit..it all builds up!
Your niche is really important with affiliate marketing, you should pick programs that complement what you already talk about. For instance, you wouldn’t want to promote a sex swing on a Christian blog but a bible app would be a perfect fit.

When I was looking for an affiliate program to use, I knew I wanted a program that I used the product and love it. SO I went with Temu, because I use them all the time for online shopping. I quit using Amazon and shop Temu when I can’t find something locally. Also, it helps me save money on purchases because I can just use the credit I earn from sales. That’s a win-win for me!
Since I posted this, I added a couple more affiliate programs to my portfolio, because I use these programs and recommend them to everyone in my niche. I also like earning enough to pay the monthly bill :p
